• Japanese grade VG10 is a premium alloy. It contains a higher percentage of carbon and additional elements such as vanadium and cobalt, which contribute to its sharpness, ultra-sharp side, exceptional hardness and durability

• The VG10 gives you a more precision cut than the 440C while not requiring as much often sharpening. It has higher Rockwell hardness, meaning that it retains its sharpness for a longer period of time even when subjected to frequent use.
